This is for the C.S. Bell #1 and #2 farm bells. This is a 1/2" dia. eyebolt that is 4-1/2" long. *If you have another bell makers bell you will need to make sure that the hole in your bell crown and the yoke is more than 1/2" wide to accept the post of the eyebolt*
Includes 1 metal washer, two square nuts and a plastic washer. Back in the day they used a leather washer. The leather washers quickly disintegrated, however, the plastic washer will last and last.
- 1/2” eye bolt that is 4 1/2” long
Connect the bell and yoke with the eyebolt, just to finger tight and mount it in the upright. Then straighten the
assembly, tighten the square nut, and keep tightening and straightening until the bell
hangs straight and the eyebolt assembly is tight.
